Job Description
The Software Engineer will design, develop, and implement new ideas and products for software applications and solutions. The Software Engineer will be accountable for anticipating and resolving complex problems that impact design of current or developing products. The Software Engineer will actively participate in the research, design, definition and implementation of the product software applications.
Key Responsibilities
Understands Agile methodology and Product Development Lifecycle (design, coding, testing, Maintenance etc)
Contributes to successful delivery of a use case from conception to acceptance
Code with good quality, adhering to the prescribed standards/guidelines
Development and testing of software applications and solutions that includes writing code, debugging issues and testing of the completed work products which are of high quality, scalable and extensible within the specified timeline
Builds and assembles prototype assimilations of software applications and solutions as directed
Contributes to code reviews
Demonstrate creativity in identifying effective approaches to develop software solutions
Understand product requirements and improvements necessary for the Product
Participate in all phases of agile development methodology
Participate in interviewing and hiring practices as directed and advised by management team
Mentor software developer, associate software developer and Interns
Write and review documentation needed for installation, usage and maintenance of applications and solutions
Cultivate strong working relationships with co-workers.
Undertake any other assignments for which the companys management may request your participation from time to time
