The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) will conduct WB Police Constable 2019 recruitment through Online and offline application mode, apply from 5th February 2019 to 5th March 2019.<br /><br />Recruitment to the post of Constables (Male) in West Bengal Police – 2019<br /><br />Name of the Post : Constables (Male)<br />Total Vacancies : 8419<br />Age Limit : 18 to 27 years as on 01/01/2019 (Upper age relaxation - 05 years for SC / ST - West Bengal Only, 03 years for OBC - West Bengal Only)<br />Pay Scale : ₹ 5,400 - 25,200/- (i.e. Pay Band-2) + Grade Pay ₹ 2,600/- <br /><br />Educational Qualifications:<br />(1) Candidates must have passed Madhyamik Examination / Matriculation / 10th class pass from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.<br />(2) Language - (i) The applicant must be able to speak, read and write the Bengali language. However, this provision will not be applicable to the persons who are permanent residents of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts. (ii) For the applicant of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong District, the provisions laid down in the West Bengal Official Language Act, 1961 will be applicable.<br /><br />Selection Process: Preliminary Written Examination, Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET).<br /><br />How to Apply: Eligible Interested candidates apply online through WBPRB Application Portal from 5th February 2019.
