Education Qualification For RPSC Recruitment 2016:
PG Degree in Mathematics/Commerce/Statistic/ Public Administration/Sociology/ Economics/Economics and Public Administration with second class provided that a post-Graduate in Mathematics/Statistics should have had Economics or Sociology as one of the subject in BA and a certificate (RS-CIT course conducted by Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited) awarded by Vardhaman Mahaveer open University, Kota or any other certificate awarded by a competent authority declared equivalent to the above certificate by Department of Information Technology and Communication in Government of Rajasthan.

About RPSC:
Rajasthan Public Service Commission is an unprecedented history. India took the commission in 1923 recommended the establishment of the Union Public Service Commission, but the Commission was set up in provinces Public Service Commission did not have any idea about. Provincial governments to make the necessary appointments to civil service rules and was free. Rajasthan Public Service Commission had a glorious past of nearly 50 years. During 1923, the Lee Commission had recommended setting up of a Central Public Service Commission in India, but it did not give much thought to the need of establishing similar commissions in provinces. It was left largely to the discretion of provincial Governments to recruit and exercise control over their Services, as they thought proper.
