Educational Qualification for ONGC Recruitment 2016-2017:
Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
Graduate Degree in Petroleum Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
Graduate Degree in Petroleum Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks Should have Certificate of competency as Electrical Supervisor.

Selection Procedure:
The selection process will comprise of the following:
GATE – 2016 : The desirous and eligible candidates having the essential qualification for the advertised posts should have appeared in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2016 as indicated above in para 1.1.Essential Qualification & GATE Subject with Code under Eligibility Criteria and declared qualified by the GATE-2016 authorities .
The GATE-2016 Score in the subject mentioned against the posts of ONGC will be considered by ONGC for shortlisting the candidates for the further selection process of Personal Interview as per the criteria decided by the Management
