Job Description:
The analyst would be responsible for Requirements gathering, VB.Net/SQL Development, developing, delivering & publishing executive and non-executive scorecards and dashboards. The role would require the person to work closely with business leaders for business analytics and storyboarding.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Requirements Gathering: Effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand and develop project requirements.
2. Own and deliver across the reporting life-cycle, from requirements capture, data visualization, data extraction and collation & modelling to report production
3. Ability to work on VB.Net and SQL Development projects.
4. Develop & Deliver Scorecards / Dashboards / Storyboards: Effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs, apply effective data visualization techniques and produce scorecards / dashboards / storyboards. Would include development of scorecards grounds-up.
5. Develop and produce on-going reporting on scorecard trends, performance, or issues to key constituents
6. Stay abreast of the evolving best practice in the industry for scorecard methodologies
7. Stakeholder management: Understand partners’ expectations and effectively engage with them to handle communication, alignment, reporting and escalations.
8. Capability development – Support in building capability across the reporting life-cycle functions.
9. Innovation – Continuous improvement of existing scorecards and identifying opportunities for automation and data remodelling
10. Execute initiatives which could be group-specific, vertical or BU specific.
11. Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, with quick decision making skills and strong business intuition
Experience, Qualification and Skills:
MBA / BE or Equivalent Education
Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience
Tool Set: VB.Net and SQL 2008 developer
Skill set:
1. Strong communication and articulation skills, with experience in engaging at executive management levels
2. Analytical background with strong technical and problem solving skills
3. Strong data visualization and representation skills
4. Strong business orientation and technology acumen
5. Ability to balance customer service with sound business judgment.
6. Ability to navigate through huge data sets and conduct trend analysis
7. Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
8. Strong influencing skills and networking ability.
9. Willingness to work in different shifts, including US coverage
Requirement:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
· Bachelor’s degree with an MBA or a B.E.
· Prior relevant experience of 2 to 6 years.
· 1.6 years experience in VB.Net and SQL 2008 developer (Mandatory)
Shift: Mid day / Night Shift (Transportation Provided)
Location: Bangalore
Salary: As per industry standards and in the range of Rs. 9 lacs per annum.
