Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 to 40 years of age.

Educational Qualification for WBBPE Recruitment 2016-2017:
The candidate should have completed Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks in the examination and should have also qualified two year Diploma in elementary education in accordance with the National Council of Teacher Education or Graduation along with Diploma in Elementary Education and should have qualified TET.
Selection Procedure: Eligible aspirants will be shortlisted based on their educational qualification and eligibility criteria. The candidates will be selected on the basis of Aptitude Test and Viva- Voice along with an Interview.
Application Fee:
The General and OBC candidates will have to pay a sum of Rs.200.The SC/ST/PH candidates will have to pay a sum of Rs.50.
