Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 22 to 35 years on 1st July 2017. They must not have born after 1st July, 1995 and not before 2nd July, 1982.

Educational Qualification for UPPSC Recruitment 2016-2017:
Candidate must be a Bachelor of Laws of a University established by Law in U.P. or any other University of India recognised for this purpose by the Governor, Or (B) Must be an Advocate enrolled under the provisions of the
Advocate Act 1961 or a Barrister of England or Northern Ireland or a Member Faculty of Advocates in Scotland and is entitled to practice in the Court or Courts subordinate thereto; (C) Must possess a thorough Knowledge of Hindi in Devnagri Script.
Selection Procedure:
The selection procedure will be followed by Preliminary Examination, Main (Written) examination and Personality Test (Viva-voce).
Application Fee:
In the ON-LINE Application process, after completing the procedure of first stage,Category wise prescribed examination fee is to be deposited as per instructions provided in second stage. The prescribed fee of preliminary examination for different categories is as under.
Exam fee of Rs.100/- for Unreserved (General) candidates,Other Backward Class candidates and Rs.40/- for Scheduled Caste,Scheduled Tribe candidates and No examinition fee for Handicapped candidates. On-line processing fee of Rs.25/- is applicable for all the candidates.
