Name of the Post: Assistant Loco Pilot
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 33 years. The age of the applicant should be as on 1st July 2017.
Pay or salary: The pay or salary will be Rs.5200–20200/- Per Month.
Educational Qualification for Mumbai KRCL Recruitment 2016-2017:
Minimum Matriculation pass (or its equivalent under 10+2 system) plus ITI/Act
Apprenticeship under the Apprentice Act 1961 in any of the following trades: Fitter,
Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Mill Wright Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic
(Radio/TV), Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor
Mechanic, Armature and Coil Winder, Mechanic Diesel, Heat Engine, Turner, Mechanist Refrigeration and A/C Mechanic, or Diploma in Automobile Engineering/ Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronic Engineering recognized by AICTE in lieu of ITI or 12th (science) pass in regular schooling. However, the Candidates with Higher Educational Qualification in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical / Automobile Engineering recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education are also Eligible.
Selection Procedure:
Based on the applications received, eligible candidates will be called for written
examination. The written examination will consist of objective/subjective questions on
general mathematics, English language, current affairs, general knowledge, science,
social science of X/XII standard. The qualifying marks for written examination will be
50% for candidates from ‘GEN’ category and 40% for SC/ST candidates. Those who
qualify in the written examination have to appear for Aptitude test. Those who qualify in Aptitude test will be called for Scrutiny of documents as per merit order. Candidates with all clear records and as per merit will be called for prescribed medical examination. The selected and medically fit candidates will be provisionally appointed based on the merit position and the availability of the vacancy subject to verification of antecedents and required to undergo training as per the requirement of the post. The candidates who successfully complete the training will only be appointed on regular basis.
Application fee:
Candidates are required to pay application fee Rs 100/- through bank draft drawn in the favor of FA % CAO / KRCL for general categories candidates and other backward class categories candidates. No examination fee for land losers and schedule caste categories candidates / schedule tribe categories candidates..
