Educational Qualification for IIT Kharagpur Recruitment 2016-2017:
BE/BTech Degree in Civil Engineering (1st Class or equivalent) from a recognised and nationally reputed Institute/University
ME/M.Tech/M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology or equivalent with at least 60% marks or CGPA of at least 6.5 in 10 point scale from a recognized University/Institute of repute and at least 6 years’ of relevant experience in the following areas out of which 3 years in the Grade Pay of `6600/- or equivalent level. OR B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology or MCA or equivalent with at least 60% marks or CGPA of at least 6.5 in 10 point scale from a recognized University/Institute of repute and at least 8 years’ of relevant experience in the following areas out of which 3 years in the Grade Pay of `6600/- or equivalent level.
BE/B.Tech/M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology or equivalent or MCA from a recognised University/Institute of repute with at least 60% marks or CGPA of at least 6.5 in 10 point scale and at least 5 years’ relevant experience in the following areas out of which 3 years in the Grade Pay of ` 5400/- or equivalent level.
B.E./B.Tech/MSc. in Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent or MCA from a recognised University/Institute of repute with at least 60% marks or CGPA of at least 6.5 in 10 point scale and at least 2 years of relevant experience on any one of the following areas.
Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale from a recognised University/Institute of repute
Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale along with a good academic record.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 1st Class or equivalent OR Master’s Degree with a minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale from a recognised University/Institute of repute.
