Name of the Post: Intelligence Assistant

Age Limit: Candidates age should be 21 to 28 Years as on 01/09/2016.

Pay or salary: The pay or salary will be Rs.10300-34800/- and Grade Pay Rs.3200/-

Educational Qualification for Punjab Police Recruitment 2016-2017:

Candidate should also possess an ‘O’ Level Certificate of Information Technology from Department for Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course (DOEACC) or National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) or its equivalent institution.B.Sc/ B.Tech./ BE in Information Technology (IT) or Computer Science or Information Systems or BCA or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications.

Selection Procedure:

Each candidates (both male and female) shall undergo a Substance Abuse (Drug Addiction) Test at the Recruitment Centre before the conduct of the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The selection stages:- Physical Measurements, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Test Scrutiny of Documents, Final Merit List and Final Result.

Application Fee:

Candidates are required to pay Rs.500/- for General Category, Rs.150/- for SC / ST / BC Category, No fee for Ex-Servicemen. The Application fee can be deposited online, while filling the Application Form, by using Net Banking,Debit/Credit Card Payment or offline, along with the print-out of the Fee Challan Form. The last date for submission of application fee is 23/09/2016.
